MENTORING AT SCHOOL & UNIVERSITY

Our bespoke student mentoring programme aims to equip individual students with many of the necessary skills and abilities to successfully navigate the challenges of sixth form and university. As well as providing help to develop key academic skills and knowledge, our mentoring also aims to build confidence, develop resilience and character and raise aspirations. We see mentoring as an effective partnership in which a student is encouraged and empowered in their personal and academic goal-setting and development.

Our programme will match the needs and preferences of each individual student who will be allocated a mentor to support them with any combination of the following over a mutually agreed time period:

  • Managing the transition from GCSE to A level
  • Study Skills
  • Applying to university
  • Preparing for examinations
  • Navigating Results Day (including Clearing if appropriate)
  • Transitioning from school to university
  • Undergraduate guidance and support – academic and pastoral
  • Careers guidance at school and university
  • Managing a Gap Year (if appropriate)

Mentoring, whether short-term or long-term, is offered through a combination of in-person and online sessions and always according to what works best for the mentor and mentee.

Please contact us to find out more and to discuss your individual preferences and needs. Parents and guardians are particularly welcome to discuss our mentoring service.
