MDC Education Consultancy was founded by Mario Di Clemente, an  educational leader with over 30 years experience.  It aims to provide a specialised, bespoke support to school leaders and their teams as well as to students and their parents, offering a range of services that reflect a wide-ranging knowledge and experience of the education sector.

Since graduating from university with a modern languages degree and teaching qualification, Mario has taught English, Spanish, Italian and French and, since 2000, has occupied senior leadership and management positions including as Vice Principal and Principal of three UK and international colleges. He has also served as Chief Operations Officer of a Multi-Academy Trust and as a secondary school governor

His experience extends to both the independent and state sectors at primary, secondary and further education level, and in both day and boarding school environments. He has led schools through highly successful and outstanding inspections of Compliance and Educational Quality, both by Ofsted and the ISI, and has served as a school inspector. He has served as a trustee on the UK Council for International Student Affairs (UKCISA) and as Chair of the Council for Independent Further Education (CIFE).

Mario places the identification, development and fulfilment of individual potential at the heart of his educational philosophy along with the responsibility of all educational professionals and leaders to provide an environment that is nurturing, challenging and empowering.
