Good mentoring is about having the ability to listen, empathise and guide. Whether you are new to senior leadership or an experienced school leader, opportunities for self-reflection, peer review, advice and guidance are not always available or easy to arrange, such are the inevitable pressures on a leader’s time and resources. 

As a leader, you line manage, appraise and develop others, and you encourage their feedback, yet what about you and your own development, your own mentoring needs? 

Senior leaders often derive considerable benefit, both professionally and personally, from spending time with a mentor who has gained very similar leadership experience over many years and understands the challenges which leaders inevitably  face.

MDC Education Consultancy offers a bespoke mentoring service for senior leaders and their leadership teams, recognising that a one-size fits all approach will not be appropriate nor helpful in every case. Different leaders will have very different needs. 

We offer regular or one-off mentoring  sessions with an experienced senior leader either in the workplace, a neutral venue or online (Zoom or Teams).
